I had an awesome experience at Knottyroots . The owner (Mizan) is amazing. She does her job professionally and with grace. Very easy to communicate with.. She treats you like family. If you want to have an amazing experience with a talented professional, then make an appointment. Trust me you will not be sorry.

Quionna was great! She was very welcoming, entertaining, worked fast and efficiently. However I was very disappointed with the level of professionalism I experienced from the receptionist during my confirmation calls . During the call , she asked me if I knew how long the stylist would take to remove my locs—something I clearly wouldn’t be expected to know. Her tone came across as dismissive and unhelpful. Additionally, when I clarified that she had removed 20 locs instead of 15, she became argumentative as if I was lying , when I told her it was an estimated total, until I took the time to count them. This made the interaction uncomfortable and unnecessary during a 7 minute call! I had to even ask her to confirm with the stylist the hourly rate for my service so I can come in prepared. W

Awesome experience. Professional, private and very knowledgeable. Would recommend to anyone looking for a natural hair care professional.

I am very upset, I drive 20 min trying to get in the building no one was here. I like Mizan as a person but her system is a waste of time . It books me and then no one shows up . This is so unprofessional and frustrating why would your system book me and your not working on the Sunday . No call or text . I'm not going through this again . Thanks for nothing .

Mizan has only done my hair once. The wait was terrible! 3 1/2hrs! I only stayed bcuz I NEEDED my hair done bad.I was satisfied with the outcome and she did give me free stuff for the wait.She also recommended I do certain things to my locs to maintain them. My next appointment got cancelled bcuz she was having surgery on her shoulder. HER FILLIN WAS GREAT!! NO WAITING AND SHE WAS VERY FRIENDLY! I hope she come back soon. She is the one that did this style I have left pics of also.
