Koncept Nail Spa

If you’re wondering why there are so many good reviews, Koncept pays for them ($5 discount for a review at checkout). I am hesitant to trust the reviews from anywhere with this scheme. I did not take the discount. The good: nice environment and reasonable price for regular manicure and gel take off ($27 plus $5) From my experience, the technician could have done better from a customer service and technique perspectives. To remove my gel, she relied heavily on the Dremel, which I do not like because it makes my nails very thin. I appreciate places that use patience and an acetone soak more. She did not file my nails straight (see photo for example). She also really pushed for me to get gel and other services even though I said I only wanted regular polish. I booked an event the night before Presidents’ Day, and was not able to get all of the texts that everyone adds to their reviews (Kammy, Ken, Ben, Hugo, Wendy) so they placed us with Kim. Kim was very nice and sweet! She did a great job. The salon is truly like a spa! I got 2 pedicures for myself and my husband and it was very relaxing. We did the luxury spa pedicure and it was worth it. I also got a full set gel X nail set. Would definitely recommend coming here!

I have been going here for almost a year now & I can say I’ve never had a horrible experience. The staff there is very nice & always super welcoming & accommodating with/without an appointment. “Soo” did these & very affordable prices for the DMV area. They are also very fast about getting you in an out.

Came in for a pedicure and dip manicure. I was told they were busy and might not be able to do my nails. My pedicure was nice very relaxing. I was offered hot tea and water. As they finished up my toes I was told they had time to do my nails. Amanda was my nail tech she was very sweet. I appreciated that she soaked my nails vs just drilling the previous color off. She did a great job and I loved that she mentioned she cared about healthy nails. The shop was very clean and pleasant. I would definitely go back.

Ben has done.l a phenomenal job on my builder gel set! The base color was exactly what I asked for and he was very detailed oriented. You will not be disappointed!
