Kotos African Hair Braiding

Extremely dishonest and rude establishment. I walked in to inquire if they knew how to do a style. They proceed to make me take my hair out of the beat cornrows i had just to quote a ridiculously high price. They could have told me their prices/ that they did not know how to do the style before i took my hair out.

Welcoming, place was cold but owner of salon explained why, styles displaced if you needed one. Patient young lady and we did have a wonderful discussion on life. I'd diffenately go back.

They are so rude in there no customer service skills at all, charged 50 dollars for two braids armpit length no hair added. Not professional at all not even when you call and when you walk in you’re not even acknowledged. The lady that did my hair attitude was ok but it looks like I got the monopoly man’s mustache she used grown hair instead of baby hairs. Update : literally 24hrs later and my braid is unraveling lol WASTE OF MONEY

$250 for medium box braids to mid back?! 😱Absolutely NOT! Nasty attitude at 11:30am. It's definitely not necessary, and she can't braid big. I hardly ever see anyone in there, now I know why. Just go to Harlem and get your braids done. Too bad those ladies don't move up to Y.O. this one would go out of business in a heart beat.
