Just the kind of natural hair salon I’ve been searching for all these years! The owner, Kriss Koffee, was incredibly welcoming, and the entire atmosphere was warm and inviting. Devyn did my braids, and after showing her my inspiration picture, she recreated the look perfectly. As a 6-month breast cancer survivor who lost my hair during the journey, this experience meant so much more than just getting my hair done. The kindness, care, and positive energy in the salon were exactly the warmth I needed. I’m truly grateful for the beautiful work and the uplifting environment. Thankfully, I was able to schedule my next appointment with Devyn before I left the salon.

I went in for a consult to help me better understand what was going on with my hair. The owner Kris was very helpful and honest about my options with what I wanted to accomplish with my hair overall. She got me booked for my takedown and install and the overall process and experience was wonderful and amazing. Angel and Devyn did my take down in a matter of 3-4 hours. It was painless and I still maintained my original length of hair. My Microloc install the next day with Devyn and Maya took 5-6 hours. The salon is clean. The staff is fun and professional. The time really flew by because the vibes were just amazing. Can’t wait to return for my first retie in 6 weeks. If I could give 10 🌟 I would.

Update to Kris response to my original review.....OK..the full truth. 1. Kris responded saying I had "several" extensive consultations. Wrong, I had one and it was during a twist service with her. I made every appointment in Vargo please go back and check. 2. Kris responded saying she discussed the locs would shrink and frizz through the process. That was not the problem and I told her that, bunching was the problem, pictures below 3. I have email proof where I expressed to her I had no problem with frizzing nothing in my emails did I see shrinkage, but that was not the problem again, bunching was the problem, pictures below. 4. Not as expected. My expectations were a healthy hair care Salon that provides moisture and hair care to our girls. We booked the two strand twists style, with ends trimming, and steam treatment. I won't go into the details of the salon, because in my heart if hearts I feel our appointment there were some confusion logistically. Our appointment started behind schedule and although booking two stylist and two separate appointments our girls were shampooed one at a time. Despite the confusion, I wanted to continue the service. Our girls hair was full no doubt but not as moisturized or tight at the root as I would have liked. Kris Koffee as a person is amazing. The 1st time we met, we clicked instantly. The vibes and energy were great. The salon atmosphere and the other stylist are top notch. It's like visiting your sister's from another mother. They truly care about you and your hair.
