I won’t gate keep this place anymore! I have been hoping around different nail places in downtown, but had hard time finding an affordable, skilled, and niche place. But this is the right place if you are looking to do both simple one color gel nails and complex unique designs. I’m a designer and I use hands a lot so when it comes to hands and nails I take them very carefully. So far, I love how they interpret my design to their own, love they are very meticulously prep the nails and cuticles before applying the coats, and love how they are passionate about their work! I went to FIT a few years ago and it always reminds me of my college life day to night carrying all the sewing supplies in my big bags!! I love getting my nails done here by Haena (and will only trust my nails to her in NYC). She always does an amazing job with the designs and is so sweet. Every single time the nails have turned out perfectly - she’s so good at recreating the inspo pic but also making any slight adjustments to it that I need. Also, the salon is clean and hygienic, and the seats are really comfortable which makes sitting for a few hours very enjoyable. The pictures are from my three most recent sets. My nail tech was very kind and meticulous. My set of short gel-x nails, booked under an advanced session, ended up taking 3 hours. I was charged $172 ($205 after tip). I don’t think my set was worth what I paid, and given my flaky cuticles, bumpy overlay of gel, and ever so slightly uneven placement of my gel-x on my nails, I do not think I will return. My nail tech did ask if I liked my nails, but after 3 hours I did not have the energy to sit any longer and ask for any changes. Again all the nail techs and individual at the front were kind and professional, which I did appreciate. I appreciate my nail tech taking the time she did on my nails. I attached the reference photos I requested for comparison.

Seulki was so nice and professional and she made me feel super comfortable. She gave me nice hand massage which I’ve never had done before and when it came to my request she made it look even better than I described. 10/10 would recommend her to a friend.

I got gel nails with a design from their monthly event nail menu. It's so cute and well done. Unfortunately after 6 days, I noticed the gel lifting. A disclaimer that I'm not a professional at gel nails! But there were some things done at the salon that I've not seen at other places. (1) After my nails were buffed, the nail dust was only brushed off. Other manicures I've gotten usually have me wash my hands and then acetone or alcohol (idk which) are used on each nail to make sure they're clean of oil and dust. When hand cream was applied after, I could feel remaining dust being rubbed into my skin. (2) nails were filed and shaped after gel was applied. I have never experienced this and from nail videos I've seen online, I believe this might increase the chance of lifting (but again I
