The owner was so kind and knowledgeable, she examined the condition of my hair, made recommendations without pushing anything and did an excellent job. I trust her completely and will be back again for a silk press and trim!

Every time I go to Krystal's I have an excellent time. there was no wait time as soon as I went in I was already in a chair I had my hair washed not once but three times and deep conditioned and conditioned after that. my hair is natural so of course they have to blow it out and straighten it and I had to get it cut evenly. I believe they did an excellent job it was not expensive it only cost $65 to have all that done which included washing, leaving treatment blowing my natural hair. I do recommend them, but go early if you have to in and out.

They burned my hair I went to this salon years ago. I have natural hair but it is fine and low density. She blow dried it and i kept telling her it was too hot. I washed my hair over a week later and my curls were gone. I had no idea how to help heat damage. It took years to grow out my hair and cut it off bit by bit. The most infuriating part was that i went to the owner to complain because she’s the one who did my hair and she had the nerve to tell me I have two texture hair. I won’t ever go back here again and I hope they close down.

This place is great! If you're in Canarsie and need somewhere to get your hair done, this is the place I'd recommend. Other salons in the area, I've had negative experiences with severely discourteous staff so it was a breath of fresh air to come here and get my hair done, minus the attitude. And they do a good job too at a reasonable price. Also, it should be noted that I'm African-American and they somehow, magically, were able to blow-dry and flat iron my 4A hair into submission. Which is great because I can have straight hair without getting a SUPER damaging perm.

My girlfriend goes here and i love when she comes home with her hair smelling and looking good, the owner and her son is the best stylist there!!!!
