La Belle African Hair Braiding and Boutique

What I asked for (left) vs what I got (right) and when the braider asked if I liked it, I replied it’s cute but not what I asked for, too many braids across the front Bella and the braider started arguing w/me, very unprofessional. The back is knotless but it looks like trash. The parts are straight not how knotless looks. I won’t be going back. These braiders in Columbus, GA say they can give what you ask for but don’t. Box braids are the only thing they do ok. Not worth what I paid. I see why she’s always closed when you go. She took my money and I didn’t get what I wanted 🤬

I cant lie the lady who actually do your hair is great! But the owner is very ignorant she give everyone different prices just to get business🤣 I mean I understand sis you gotta get it how you live. But that's very bad business. She got mad because her sister had to re-do my braids that was super big. And yes she braid soo tight you won't get sleep at night. But overall hair styles are great.

I'm very selective about who does my hair however I just moved to Columbus and this is the second time someone has done my braids and this time I was satisfied. They were tight bc my hair is very soft and also short but going on 2 weeks and they are still kicking... Very friendly and professional!

To be honest I was fooled by the positive reviews. Sis if you value your hair and scalp please think twice. Yea the braids are neat but I’m scared to see what my hair is going to look like when I take them down because these shops in general do not care about your hair only about how good the braids look. Sis was working the comb so hard on my scalp like a knife on the cutting board. My eyes started watering and I had to ask her to stop. I will never forget that. This was definitely my last time going to any one of these shops. I’d rather go sit in somebody’s living room with kids running around before I do this again.

La Bella and her staff did an AMAZING job on myself and my daughter's hair. We both got box braids and it didn't take long at all. Work is very neat. My daughter and I will definitely return.
