La Boutique Nails

I’ve had some good experiences here with a few nail techs I really liked, but the inconsistency is becoming a problem. Even when I call ahead to make an appointment with someone, they’re often not available, which makes it hard to stick with a tech who does good work. Most recently, I came in for a gel refill. The tech who did the refill was fine, but she wasn’t available to finish the color, which I found confusing. I was then switched to another tech to complete the design. I asked for a French tip + regular color combination. When she started the French, she didn’t apply the base pink at all, and I had to point out that my natural nail and refill line were still visible. This salon is a hidden gem! All of the techs are really nice and all very talented. They are such a sweet group of staff, and are so talented and do my nails right every time! These nails by “So” were truly a work of art.

I selfishly almost didn't leave a review because I didn't want it to be harder to get an appointment but Ros is the absolute best. She is meticulous about making sure the nails are the right length and shape..then the nail art, so good! Any pic I've brought her she's been able to replicate. From strawberries, to flowers, to watermelons, to roses, to line work, the woman can do it all. Never been someone to routinely get my nails done, but here I am, routinely going to see my girl Ros and get the best nails! (Side note, these are acrylics/tips).

I love this nail salon! It’s clean & all the nail technicians are kind and do a good job. I’ve been coming for the past 3 months consistently for Gel X nail sets and gel pedicures. The sets have been lasting for nearly a month and I always get lots of compliments on my nails. I’ve been to other salons where I paid more for lower quality nails. I’m so happy I discovered this gem!

I don’t leave negative reviews, but depending who you get, your nails will be destroyed. This is from a rushed, rough hard gel removal. The tech tried to use an extension to pry off the gel (never ok!!) and when I flinched she said, I didn’t cut you. My natural nails were healthy when I arrived, but I had to cut the papery tips entirely off and they’re still sore and breaking. Don’t make my mistake.
