L'eau de Vie Salon

First timer, like my stylist. She listened, nailed the length, and diffused well. After a few washes, I really didn't like how my hair was sitting in the back. I knew it wasn't quite right and I really didn't like it. They told me to come back & they'd fix it. I showed up for my scheduled appt, but the stylist didn't! They had to reschedule me again. Showed up and the stylist was abrasive, rough during the wash, barely listened, and when I told him they area I wanted addressed, he added a ton of layers to the front (which is not what I wanted). I voiced my concerns several times, explained how it's been cut in the past and how that worked really well for my hair. I got my haircut with Joseph today and it turned out amazing! I have curly hair and he really embraced my texture and layered it wonderfully. You can tell he has great creative vision and is very skilled. I feel beautiful and very heard with my request. I also love the salon vibes; definitely try their tea!

I recently moved here from Charlotte and decided to try L'eau de Vie as my new salon because I have always used Aveda. I called and asked specifically if there was someone who specializes in curly hair. I was assured there was so I asked for an appointment and was very clear that I wanted a cut and a full head balayage. To my surprise the receptionist offered me an appointment the very next day and I assumed there must have been a cancellation for there to be that much time available. When I arrived for my appointment with Joseph it immediately became clear that he in no way shape or form specializes in curly hair. Not only that but he was super confused when I said I was there for a cut and color because we only had an hour. I realized then that the receptionist hadn't listened to a word

Kristie gave me the best haircut I think I ever had! I have curly hair and the cut brings out the curls perfectly. The products she recommended and how to best apply them has been very helpful.i highly recommend her if you have curly hair. Also for the time she spent it was very reasonably priced.

Krissy did an incredible job with my daughter’s hair! She took the time to really listen to what my daughter wanted and addressed all of our concerns. The cut she gave perfectly accentuates her natural curls, and she even shared some great tips and tricks for styling at home. My daughter is absolutely loving her fresh new look! We couldn’t be happier and will definitely be back to see Krissy again. Highly recommend!
