The first time I came here, the woman who had cut my hair was excellent, she did a quick job of giving me good layers for a good price. Went back to her again for a trim after that--she had cut my hair much shorter than I had asked her to. I also asked her to trim my bangs, and she trimmed them so extremely short. I thought--okay whatever, my hair needed a pretty decent chop anyways. I don't know why I didn't take that as a sign. This third time I went, she was extremely rude. She was never incredibly friendly to begin with but that day she just seemed like she did not want to be there at all, I would have rather she just told me that she would not be able to cut my hair today rather than sitting me down. I went to go sit in a clean chair, but she very rudely and curtly told me to sit in

UPDATE 9/28/2021: I AM SO HAPPY WITH MY HAIR!! I went back to Sonia, she listened to everything I had to say, and did a FANTASTIC job!! She did exactly what I asked for & then some!! She is an artist when it comes to hair! I've been coloring my hair my whole life & I must say, this is some of the VERY BEST hair color & highlights Ive ever had! I also do single process on the roots & the color she chose for me is perfect! I cant say enough great things about her, the service, and the salon is really clean and newly renovated! Location is so convenient too, it's right by the 7 train at 61st St & Roosevelt n Woodside Queens. This experience was 10 stars, I am so HAPPY!!!!! I have been going to Leonardo’s since 2017 and its the only salon I go to in NYC! Sonia is such a delight to work with. From consultation to the final result, she never disappoints! I have been in different shades of blue/green for my hair and she made sure it was what I wanted. Her hands can work miracles and my mom also goes to her for her hair care needs. She is also very considerate and she helped me improve my hair’s health by giving tips on how to manage colored hair. I am now thinking of trying a different shade for my hair and I know where to go—Leornardo’s salon 😊 Thanks Sonia! 💕 I highly recommend Sonia and her salon 💇‍♀️

I am so distressed after getting my hair cut here. I wanted only a trim because I'm growing my hair out. I didn't want any layers, any bangs, or anything (I had just a small amount of layers from my previous haircut at a different place in October - a stylist should be able to trim them in a similar style without adding any extra). I thought everything was fine when she showed me that she'd cut around an inch from the bottom but I left with way too short and too many layers. half of my hair is ridiculously thin and layered and half of it is like a separate helmet on top of my hair. This is like hair from two different heads. She brushed my hair roughly when it was totally wet and the blow dryer was way too hot and burned my scalp and hair. My hair should be feeling fresh and healthy righ

I always go here to have my nails done. Narcisa is really good and takes care of my nails. Very happy with her service. Highly recommend.
