L'evation Salon

This was my first time getting my hair cut by Ella and she did such an amazing job! I often go into hair appointments with a general idea but unsure exactly what I want. Ella and I collaborated on the style and I ended up getting a chop, layers, face framing and curtain bangs. I absolutely love how my hair turned out and appreciated her guidance on what would suit me best. She is the sweetest and I’ve heard from others that she’s excellent at hair extensions!

Do not go to. Ella Ferrick.I’ve had good experiences at this salon before, which is why this visit was so disappointing. I came in asking for a blended bob with soft, gradual movement. Instead, I received a cut that resembled disconnected, step-down layers, with the back longer and heavier than the front and a blunt, bowl-like perimeter. It did not resemble a proper bob and felt more like an unblended layered cut than the structured shape I requested. When I politely tried to explain my concerns and asked if it could be adjusted, the stylist was dismissive and condescending. Rather than listening or trying to correct the issue, she made me feel like my concerns weren’t valid. At one point, she even laughed, which was extremely unprofessional and upsetting. I have been getting my hair done by Kassie for over 5 years at this point and followed her between multiple salons. L'evation has been my favorite experience with her by far. She and the other staff at L'evation are kind, helpful, and genuinely talented. Easy, free parking in the lot garage across the street and, if you want to make a whole afternoon of your experience, there are a plethora of eats and other shops nearby, too. You will not be disappointed in your experience here.

I had such a great experience with Lindsey. She took her time, understood my style, and gave me the perfect look. She’s kind, meticulous, and really knows her craft. I’m grateful for her amazing work!
