Liberty Street Hair Design

I had my first haircut at Liberty Street Hair Design, Inc. by Doug yesterday. It was a great experience. Dough took time to provide a thorough consultation. He was charming and an excellent stylist. I am very happy with my cut which suits my features and lifestyle. I would highly recommend Doug to others.

My stylist at Liberty Street Hair Design is Sarah Bent. She is fantastic! She's sweet and easy to talk to and always gives amazing haircuts and highlights! (This is what I have done, but she obviously does many other things with hair and she does nails). She gives suggestions when I'm undecided and always tells me to try things out for a couple days but if I'm not happy, she will fix it. Prices are very reasonable. She is very good at giving you what you want to make you happy! Go check her out today!

The stylists here are always pretty busy BUT Doug and Alexa are kind, thoughtful, and very talented hairstylists. They both take time to interview you about what you do / don't want, and they work to make this place feel like home, not freakishly-don't-touch-anything austere. I have recommended friends and strangers alike here, and drive from Albany routinely for my appointments.

Doug, the owner, and his daughter Alexa, are the best I've ever seen at hair color. You'll get expert advice on colors that will flatter you and terrific attention to detail that means you'll love the results. Also, terrific hair cuts for women, men and children alike. Great advice on products and styling tools for hair — from fine and straight to coarse and curly and everything in between. Prices are more than reasonable. Doug and Alexa are also just terrific, caring people that you'll love getting to know. Both volunteer as hair and wig stylists at a local community theater.
