Lida's Beauty Lounge

I discovered this beauty salon, and I can confidently say it’s the best one in the neighborhood! The space is spacious and inviting, and the professionals are incredibly kind and friendly. Lida, in particular, is absolutely lovely—helpful and welcoming from the moment you walk in. As a first-time visitor, she went out of her way to ensure I felt comfortable and looked gorgeous when I left. That’s exactly what you want when visiting a salon! Overall, it’s a fantastic experience, and I can't recommend it enough for anyone looking to pamper themselves.

The best place in NYC to go for a haircut. Was immediately welcomed and made comfortable, service was efficient and precise. Will definitely be back!

incredible experience with zeli! called for a haircut yesterday and they squeezed me in immediately :) probably the best (and fastest) haircut i’ve ever had and i got exactly what i asked for. also had merita at the sink and she was so sweet. plus the student discount is a huge bonus! ill absolutely be going back!

I love coming to Lida’s! I’ve been coming here ever since I moved to the neighborhood a few years ago. I’ve gotten hair cuts, done highlights and full color here, and I’ve been happy with everything. They always remember the last time I was there and it’s easy to book online.

Cossette was an amazing hair stylist. She knew what my hair needed and how to maintain my curls. This was perfectly translated to my actual haircut as my hair felt dead and not as curly as it could be. She is very knowledgeable and a great explainer on how and why hair moves a certain way. For reference I have 2b/c hair
