Linden Nails

I’m so disappointed. I don’t often get my nails done, but after coming here with a girlfriend once before and being happy with how my nails looked, I was excited to come back. This time it was not a good experience at all. My toenails are not as bad as my fingernails, but the texture isn’t smooth (there are visible bumps) and despite me asking, the tech didn’t do anything to help with cutting back the edges/sides of my big toenails for ingrown nails. My fingernails is what I’m most upset about. The tech didn’t prepare my nails at all beyond cutting the length (like pushing back cuticles, oil, etc) prior to starting with polish. While putting the polish on, she kept missing the edges of my nails, or going beyond my nail and getting polish in and beyond the cuticle bed, without cleaning it u

I wanted to try this place as I had seen it on instagram and get my hair done next door. I have extremely bad anxiety when going to new places so I entered with apprehension. The male that did my nails was super chill and clearly takes care with his work and was very nice and constantly asked if I like what he was doing with my nails. When you make an appointment you have to make a deposit but it makes sense to me because these people are very skilled and seem to be very busy. I really like this nail salon and I hope to come back again to get my nails redone.

I happened to walk past this salon on the way to my appointment, so I decided to go in before going home. I paid $72 not including tip. The nails look wonderful but definitely not worth $72, I love to go to LA nails on kirkwood highway, they would charge $40, save your money and go somewhere else.

My usual girl moved from this salon so I decided to try Ruby. I got a gel fill and regular pedicure. Pedicure went fine but fills did not! They are thick! Ends weren’t painted and one nail was cracked but instead of replacing it she glued it and continued to fill it. I’ve had my nails done for 40 yrs back when fiberglass and a forms were used to create a nail before tips. I’ve had acrylic then gel and I’m very picky and prefer the new coffin shape. I could’ve done a better job myself! These are thick, ends aren’t painted, excess gel not filed from side leaving edges for me to have to file but gluing versus replacing a cracked nail has me speechless still. Then to checkout for a plain pedicure no gel and a plain gel fill no cut down no design, just one color paint $92.00? I’m a senior and
