Mr. Kim is the best! A reasonably-priced cut done quick but still looks great. I have been going here for years and haven't had a bad haircut yet.

Always a good cut, done quickly, $18. Can't be beat! I think the poster complaining about the cost meant to review a different barber. I'm pretty sure Mr. Kim's shop has no hair washing facilities at all so I can't figure out how he could wash someone's hair. And he's never put a cloth on my face.

A great deal for Wellesley! I live in Wellesley & try to shop local. Often however, I feel I get ripped off from the local businesses because they charge more simply because they’re in Wellesley. Linden Street Barber Shop is reasonably priced & you don’t have to pay ridiculous charges like “booking fees” on Squire. If you’re a guy and just want a standard haircut, & you don’t care about hot towels & getting a cup of Keurig coffee, you’ll save over $20 by getting a haircut here versus at, at least 2 other nearby barbershops!

I've been a customer for quite a few years and have never been charged more than $18 for a normal men's haircut. This is the price POSTED ON THE WALL for a haircut. The price for "long hair" (which may mean women I guess?) is $26, also POSTED ON THE WALL. If you have a beard and require a beard trim AND haircut then you'll also pay $26. Not sure where the other reviewer claiming he was charged $38 actually went. One last point though (which might explain the discrepancy). I have never had Mr. Kim wash my hair prior to cutting it (he'll use a spray bottle to dampen it slightly). I've never asked for a wash or been offered one by Mr. Kim so perhaps a wash plus a cut is priced differently (since the reviewer mentioned a towel on his face while his hair was washed). NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!! The haircut itself was fine. Not really what I asked for, but that may have been do to poor communication on my part. However, when I walked up to the counter afterwards I was charged $38 for a regular men's cut. The barber did absolutely nothing that any other barber shop in Wellesley wouldn't, aside from place a wet towel on my face while washing my hair. Everything was very standard, nothing special at all to warrant the $40 spent. The barber also did not say a word to me and did not make me feel welcome. If you're looking to get your hair cut close by just go to Grove Street Barber. You'll get the same (if not better) cut and spend half the money.
