I recently visited Lester’s Beauty Supply and was extremely disappointed with the customer service I received. Upon entering the store, I greeted the staff and politely asked the woman at the first register if she could direct me to the hair jewelry section. Instead of assisting me, she looked at me with an attitude and said, “I’m on the phone, go ask someone else.” There was no greeting, no smile—just a dismissive and unprofessional response. As a paying customer, I expect to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. There are numerous beauty supply stores in Hempstead, and customers choose where to spend their money. Rude behavior and a lack of customer care should never be normalized, especially in businesses that rely on community support. Because of this experience, I will not be

They are the best when it comes to making sure that they have products in stock. Everyone is polite and friendly. I will continue to buy my milkyway human hair for braiding from them. Thank you for being a great place to shop.

Not a bad spot people are friendly cash as a friendly and knowledgeable the owner is usually on the premises they play nice music also. And have a variety of products including wigs I go there mostly to buy soap and grease but they do have lotions and many other things. I would recommend this door that you at least give it a try. The prices could come down a little but they are not as bad as some places.

It’s a one stop shop everything is there and there’s a beauty salon right there on premises, excellent services provided by Daila check them out.

Not sure why it took me so long to write my review. I might have been in a coma or I'm just going to blame the menopause. Be aware they are certain items you buy that you cannot return for whatever reason and Lister don't pre warn his customer. So make sure you absolutely need the item before you cash it.. Also be careful of the Jamaican cashier. She will have you buying more than you need if you ask for her help. She doesnt care if you have money she just want YOU to spend money in my opinion. I know this store from I came to America over 20 years ago. Back then the owner appeared to be nicer. It would appear that success has made him a mean old nasty man. My opinion.
