Little Axe Salon

I was a hair model for a shag class Coby led in DC several years ago - it was the best cut I’ve had! As soon as I moved to NYC, I beelined it to Little Axe. Coby has been cutting my hair here for over two years and kills it every time. The complimentary bang trims in between full cuts are such a help. I always love going to see the folks at Little Axe - from the customer service to the cut, they are warm, welcoming, and make me feel right at home.

Coby has been doing my hair for 12 years. She is a master of cutting fine hair and creating styles that are super cool and grow out looking amazing for months. Christina is the best colorist I've ever known. I love experimenting with color and she is always game and nails it every time. Love these ladies! Little Axe is a special place.

Got my hair painted my Christina and it was seriously the best highlights of my life! I have dirty blonde hair and have been getting it highlighted for 15 years and never have I walked out of a color appointment so happy. It looks even and natural and sometimes with a partial they won’t do like the underneath or the back of your hair but she did and it looks son natural and even. She is super sweet and funny and really listened to what you say and is incredibly skilled. She also gave me the best wash of my life and took her time, I was in heaven haha. I highly recommend:)

Coby razor-cut my shags on the reg pre-pandemic, and always sliced out some awesome, unique shape...making me look cooler than I ever thought possible. Came back for a visiting-haircut three years later, and WOW. She is super quick to get the vibe and the lines of my reference photos. Plus even after a whole day of giving haircuts she's so sparkly, effervescent and groovy. Get in there.

Hands down best salon! I had to go through 5 salons to finally find Little Axe. Coby does a phenomal job with cuts, and is so meticulous with making sure you look your best. Christina is a gem! Best colorist I've worked with in NYC I have platinum blonde, and she is a perfectionist making sure there is no banding! Cannot say enough about this place, worth every dollar!
