I recently visited Liz Branch Beauty Salon INC for a silk press with the stylist Gloria “Glo”, and the experience was incredible! As someone with thick 4c hair, I'm always cautious about heat, but Gloria put my mind at ease. The wash and detangling process was so gentle, and the salon atmosphere was relaxing. The final result was beyond my expectations my hair is incredibly smooth, shiny, and has great movement! I also appreciated the aftercare tips she provided on how to wrap my hair at night. I highly recommend Gloria to anyone looking for a professional who specializes in healthy, beautiful silk presses!

This place says that they specialize in natural hair. Well they don’t. Came here for a silk press and then 2 weeks later when it was time for me to wash my hair , it would not revert back to curls ! The front of my hair is severely damaged to the point that when it air drys, it’s completely straight and in the back of my hair, it’s wavy. My kinky curls are gone and now I have to cut my hair all off in hopes to save what little healthy hair I have left. Never has my hair been this damaged. Zoila did my hair. Never going to this place again , do not recommend. You’re better off finding a salon in Harlem or Brooklyn. I’m pretty sure they put perm/texturizer in their products, that’s how straight and damaged my hair is I will update my review when I visit a REAL PROFESSIONAL HAIRSTYLIST for

Terrible service.. avoid this shop at all cost if you’re a black girl who loves their natural hair. Not sure if they used chemical straightener or just the heat from the straightener but my hair is damaged! Will never get my hair done here again !!

My new salon! Maria & Shamona did a great job on my silk press & extensions. They were both very accommodating to my needs. Gloria was by my side during the whole process to make sure my requests were met. I highly recommend!!!.

My friend and co worker (whom I see on a daily basis) comes here for her hairstyles. Her natural curls are always on point. So when my teenage daughter wanted a silk press, I asked her for her stylist - and it's the best decision I've ever made. Gloria and staff are welcoming, friendly and warm. My daughter and I have had some salon nightmares, so this was a breath of fresh air. Gloria is an artist and I can tell she really cares about her clients. The entire staff is super friendly and professional. This location is 2 trains away from us and worth it. You've got a customer for life!! -haircut and silk press -color services
