Lock&Hue

Went to Jessica Skipper. Cut was great, color was a massive waste of time and money. I asked for blonde coloring, came in with a photo, and left with the same color as when I came in (dark brown, with the mildest hint of highlight), but out $300 and 3 hours of my time. When I shared concern about it at the end of the appointment she said it should get lighter in a couple days…it never did. She offered to redo the toner, but that clearly wasn’t the issue, and I wasn’t available at the time she suggested I come in. When I finally worked up the nerve to ask for a partial refund she said it was too late, and I’d have to come in for full highlights again and made sure to add there would be no discount. I got a better result from a $10 box of bleach in 30 minutes than what the “pro” did.

I went to Vijay at the recommendation of my friend who goes to him. This salon is very welcoming. I was greeted by someone, and then offered a beverage. There was a sense of calm here, unlike other salons I have been to. Because I was cutting my long hair off, this was also an emotional day for me, but Vijay really took his time with me and walked me through what he was going to do. He spend over 90 minutes, meticulously cutting my previously long hair to a shorter hairstyle. I was very satisfied, and will definitely return!

This is such a great place! I went to see Nyla / Prism for a color consult and some “fairy hair” and she was amazing!! So kind and fun, I felt at ease immediately and really included in when Nyla actually told me what she was putting/doing. The fairy strands look great and show what delicate work she can achieve!

Kat is amazing and the work she does is almost indescribable. She listened to what I wanted and delivered an incredible final product. We had good conversation and she checked in with me every step of the way. It’s not often you come across the *perfect* hairstylist but I can confidently say I did and you’d be silly not to find out for yourself!

The salon is always super clean and has a very bright and welcoming feeling. There’s always someone to greet you and offer water or a light snack! MP is the absolute best!! She will make all your hair dreams come true!
