I called to inquire about hair detangling services, and although it’s not something they offer, the associate I spoke with took the time to share helpful tips for detangling my daughter’s hair. I was hoping to make this place my permanent salon but they do not seem to care about maintaining clients. Everytime I go, I have to call at least 3 times to reach the stylist and book an appointment. They never return phone calls and this last time around, when I finally got through to the stylist, Ashley, I was told she would call me back with availability and never heard from her. Reading through the reviews, this seems to be common practice for this business to ghost their clients. Attitudes, especially Aisha's, are also very common which always made me feel nervous when a person is in your hair. Lastly, if you do go to this salon, do not share any personal information about yourself, the whole salon and local small businesses will know all about it.

I got my hair styled for my engagement photos. And it was by far one of the worst “styles” I’ve ever had. I had to get home and do my hair myself in tears because the woman who was doing my hair couldn’t actually do it. She also didn’t really wash my hair. She more like rinsed it and called it clean. I was beyond upset when leaving my appointment but I didn’t even trust the Loctician to fix it.

Locs of Excellence is my only go to place to get my locs retightened! The ladies actually care about your hair. 1qThe salon isn't ratchet nor ghetto. The salon is decorated nice and full of class...I love all the beautiful ladies who take the time to make "our" hair beautiful! Much love to all and thank you personally to my loctician "M"!💖
