Long Island African Hair Braiding

I tried a couple of places before finding this hair braiding salon and it is where its at. Very professional high-end service, all the braiders are pleasant, and the parts are precise. Let me tell you, I love fresh looking braids and will gladly come for touch ups but I didnt need to. Even after washing they stayed intact as if I just had them done. Highly recommend. I can't say enough good things about them, they get right down to business and prices are good. If you have a little wait time or have to wait on your child, they have very comfortable seating to wait. Try it and you can thank me later, lol, you wont be disappointed.

My daughter had a great experience at this African hair salon. The staff was friendly, respectful, and really knew what they were doing. Her braids were done neatly with no pain, and they didn’t rush the process. The salon was clean, and the atmosphere was comfortable. I’m very happy with my daughters hair and will be returning.

I went there to get my hair braided and I’m not sure if this was the owner or what but she didn’t seem African more like Haitian, which really doesn’t make a difference but She made fun of my hair because it was short And she did a horrible job the Braids started coming out. It weren’t very tight and she act very unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend anyone going there.

I have seen all these places in Harlem for braiding and cheap but I’m staying in Long Island although it’s far I still tried to call and no answer at any of those famous places on TikTok so I drove from Long Island to Harlem and when I walked into the first place I was like wth there was hair everywhere and they just looked at me like what the hell was I doing there smh then I went to another spot in Harlem same deal they handed me a card and sent me on my way it was another messy place hair everywhere so many ppl in chairs and ppl standing waiting I said heck no that environment is not for me. I couldn’t sign into my Google account so I had to use someone else’s…BUT STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO DO HAIR FORREAL. I went there Friday march 14th got both my daughters hair done (knotless braids) by Monday their real hair started coming out of the braids I got off of work late Monday but on Tuesday I called and told them what was the problem. I sent videos and I guess the owner called me told me I can leave the braids for a month and get 50% off next styles or I can come in so they can fix it.
