Lotus Nail & Spa of Leesburg

My manicure was done by a gentleman at the salon who did an amazing job. He cleaned my cuticles perfectly and paid great attention to detail. I’m very happy with the results!

My friend recommended this nail salon to me and I was excited to go, not sure exactly who serviced me (should’ve asked) but I was asked what I wanted, I said soak off, and was seated. She asked again what I wanted and I said a soak off, she says “you want them taken off?” And I clarify I want them SOAKED off because I know how salons get to peeling and ripping off the acrylic, and she says okay. I ask her how much, she says $15 and I say okay. She Asks if I want my nails cut I say no I want to keep my natural nail and she says okay, soaks my hand in a bowl of acetone (no foil or cotton pads) for a second then files a layer off and switches hands, does that twice. I tell her, “you can leave just a little acrylic if you need to (because I know my natural nails are fragile) and she says okay.

On a whim, while in Leesburg, I decided I needed a mani/pedi. I called Lotus, and they said they could take me right away. It's a spacious clean spa. Sophia was my nail tech. It was the best pedicure I've had in quite awhile. She did a fantastic job. I also got a gel manicure, and it was perfect. I will definitely be going back!

Lotus Nails has been recommended by multiple people. I was in need of a Gel-X refill so thought I'd try them on (the refill was on a brand-new set that was done by my usual salon). I was assigned to Jay, which he did a good job removing Gel-X. He was initially going to fill them with Hard Gel, which I kindly asked for a Soft Gel referral, which he did. When I try out a new salon, I let the technician show me their skills without correcting them as I want to see what their attention to detail is like. I will say for the most part, Jay did a decent job on most of my nails. I have a couple of nails where the Gel doesn't go down all the way on both sides and both of my thumbs aren't smooth on the top (which I didn't realize until I left the salon). Worst nails ever!!!! I got a full set done on Wednesday, and the first woman I was assigned to filed them crooked. I corrected her TWICE, and then she suddenly realized that she had an appointment and put me with someone else. She went with the original file and started prepping my set. On correcting her again (THIRD time now), she said my finger is crooked (which it was not before I entered the salon). Anyways, everything else went smoothly and she gave me what I wanted, but my nails were so above the cuticle that they look atleast 2 weeks grown out. I get my nails done very often and these are the worst nails ever. The service was PATHETIC, and the nails even worse. DO NOT GO HERE, SAVE YOUR MONEY. WORST NAILS EVER!
