The owner Simone’ started my locs almost two years ago. She is very professional dnf knowledgeable about upkeep and maintenance. My locs are healthy and strong and I would recommend her to anyone looking to start their journey

Never opened Never answers phone Update: No one is intentionally trying to ruin your business. I indeed left messages and even drove by to see if shop was opened with my daughter on Thursday Feb 12th 2026 across from Morgan Park at light next to barbershop I still haven't received a call back and it's now Monday Feb 16, 2026 I know stylist may not be able to answer right away but still days later no response...I guess its just a missed opportunity for us both

You book online and that’s nothing new and she responded immediately which gave the two stars rating. Down side she stopped responding after I’m guessing I wasn’t a fit for her clientele. I was coming in for starter locs. Natural short/medium full head of hair which I sent the photos of my hair but I also sent a photo from 2019 when my alopecia WAS prevalent. That’s ok if she didn’t want to work with that but a simple no instead of ghosting me would have been fine.

I came to Love of Locks after a bad experience with dye, caused by my former stylist. Lady Simone was very knowledgeable and concerned about the state of my locs. Although I had to have a significant amount of my hair cut due to over processing, Lady Simone's reassurance helped ease my stress. It was hard for me to trust again after my last experience. My desire is that with the use of natural products and consistent feedback, my locs will be restored, and my confidence renewed.

She is very sweet and professional I've been looking to color my locs for the first time. I found her website online I reached out. She responded to me in a timely matter. And gave me knowledge and great advice on my loc journey. She is very supportive.
