Lovely Nails

I want to start by saying that I had a really wonderful pedicure today, and the staff was lovely as always. But I also unfortunately had a really terrible experience with a lip/chin wax- I had probably the worst skin lift I have ever experienced earlier today. I don't use retinoids or anything, and I can't think of anything on my end that would explain why this wax went so wrong today. I normally get chin/lip waxing every 3 weeks or so at various salons - I don't normally have any problems. I was a little surprised this salon did not apply some kind of soothing lotion after the wax, that's usually pretty common. My skin was unfortunately damaged enough that even 6 hours after the wax, it almost looks like I'm having an allergic reaction. ☹️

1st time here. Initial reactions was very good. Got a pedicure. My nail tech was fast and efficient. Only after I realized while paying that I got swindled into paying for a higher package then what I wanted. I started with the basic $30 but then she kept saying you want this and kept pointing to the $35 package below. It was only $5 difference so I said ok. But afterwards she kept saying you want sea salt? I’m like no I just want this package and she kept saying sea salt 2x more making it sound like I needed to choose and me not realizing that it was the $50 package with the gel nail polish. She never mentioned that it was a higher price. Felt like she really rushed through the whole experience. Plus me realizing in the end that I got taken is what really burned me. Christina is the best!! She is friendly, careful and pays attention to detail. She always makes sure I am happy with everything before I leave. The salon is very clean and their prices are super affordable for the quality of work. This was my second time here and definitely not my last. This salon, and Christina, is my new go to for my every two week nail adventure. Highly recommend!!
