Lovely Nails & Spa

I'm a three time customer, and sincerely I don't think I can go anywhere else. I even brought my sister and her bridal party(5 girls!) in for mani-pedis and Lovely took our appointment with enthusiasm. The woman who runs the place is kind and professional, all her techs are honest about their experience and skill level and my go to nail tech, Catrina, is a master with designs. She's always down for a chat, and just as happy to sit in silence. To top it off, their booking process is up front and clear. I started coming here with zero experience with nails, but was still able to navigate their prices and services. I'm from Bangor, but will still gladly make the 2 hour drive each and every time. Lovely Nails was recommended to me and I understand why. I was in for a pedicure today and it was very nice! I asked for a simple pale pink all over and that's exactly what I got. The finish is even, smooth and glossy. My cuticles look great and aren't sore at all. The salon was very clean and vibe was amazing, everyone who was in or came in was very happy to be there :) I really enjoyed myself. I'll definitely be back! Great value too.

I went here today as a walk in, a last minute decision of mine. I had been here two weeks prior and needed a fill. I was having a really bad day, but they got me in and got me seated with Catrina. She executed my vision of what I wanted perfectly, even not having much for a reference photo. She was quick with everything, I had gems on my nails prior to this and she ensured I was comfortable as she took them off (their gems stay on VERY well, so she had to grind them off lol). We sat in silence, we talked very occasionally and if I wanted conversation I could’ve very easily made it happen as she’s super easy to talk to, from the little bit we did speak. The ladies were nice yes but the skill is crazy bad. For the soak off, she took a very, very long time. While she was drilling my nails down they started to burn and drilled too far down on my nails. She did not cut them clean them or do anything to my real nails. Instead, she immediately started Using two different glues and it took her 2 1/2 hours to do the nail inspiration and got them on the wrong fingers and didn’t even file the backs of them and left a lot of acrylic behind the nails. They look nothing like the inspo and still charged me over $100 for them. I understand the time and skill it takes to make these nails nice but even free styling them would have been totally better than what she did on my nails. They told me they had 3-D designs, but they didn’t. They only had jelly flo
