The process of my sisterloc journey was a long one but I had spectacular assistance and GREAT CARE and education along the WHOLE WAY. They have the hands of goddesses at this salon, anytime I get compliments I IMMEDIATELY TELL people who did my hair. Some of the work I did do myself (made better because they educated me) but everything I added they can also do. They added my sisterloc extensions and showed me how to make my fairy loc ends last longer and attach better. (I attached the curl ends myself they can also do that for you too) I colored my own hair but I strongly suggest you have them do it for you to avoid error. First, I'd like to say that the ladies there are very nice (the owner of the shop and her sister bridgette did my locs). However, I paid 3k for loc extensions and was not happy with the service. I was serviced on Sunday and had to return on Monday to finish (a non-issue). When I went home to inspect the locs that Sunday evening, I noticed some locs near the bottom of my head were slipping. The blending of my hair to the extension was not smooth and on Monday I brought it to the owners attention (I forgot her name, my apologies) and she acknowledged the issue and fixed it. I had Sister Locks installed today. Linita is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and kind. She is reliable and can be trusted to do an excellent job. Her shop is located in Moreno Valley on Sunnymead Blvd. The shop is clean and beautifully decorated. We had great conversation and she genuinely cares about your wellbeing. She came highly recommended by good friends of mine and she did not disappoint. We are making great time and Linita ensured that I was comfortable and at ease through this new hair journey. If you’re looking for real education from someone who knows what they’re doing, stop scrolling Eva is it. Black Hair Care Master Class was amazing . Everything I’ve learned that day made sense and I loved how she mixed real life scenarios into lessons I loved how when I had a question about something she would answer it. Eva gave me room to find the answer within myself by asking me question related to the topic. That actually helped with my confidence and realize I knew a lot more. Eva was timely, If I was stuck on something we took the time to actually perfect it. There were hands on training involved, which I loved. Eva teaches the class base on your learning style. If you don’t get your hair done by Eva the Diva then what are you doing?!!
