Lucky Nails Allentown

This was my first time getting my nails done here, and I won’t be returning. I got dip powder with tips done. The shape of my nails is not the same nail to nail, the tips curve up making a wavy appearance on half the nails, and there is so much glue and polish under my nails and all over my cuticles and fingers. The skin under my nails is caked with glue. It seems like a couple nail techs get really good reviews here, but my experience was not it.

DONT waste your money here. I went in for a fill in and this old man had no idea what he was doing EVERY TIME I ASKED FOR SOMETHING HE SAID NO & did want he wanted, i was missing a few corners and i asked him to add acrylic, he said no i file, i let him do his thing & when his done he completely changed the shape of my nails, i asked him to file a certain way he said no its ok, literally everything i asked his answer was no its ok didnt even clean my cuticles from the nail polish. Some of the corners are missing nail polish i had to tell him to paint again.He was rushing like it’s was a marathon. HORRIBLE. My husband got a pedicure & they was done in 10 minutes. First & last time going to this place.

This is my 2nd time here & Lisa did a great job on my nails and was very professional. My concern came at checkout. I’m not opposed to paying for quality service, but being charged an additional $30 for “nail designs” when it was simply a French felt excessive. I’d also like to note that I received a very similar design here last month and the additional charge was only $10. I was hoping to use this salon as a backup when I can’t get into PA Sugaring, but pricing should be consistent and not depend on who is at the desk. Nearly $100 for a fill with no jewels or added details is unreasonable. I paid without issue, but I likely won’t return and will continue going to PA Sugaring.

If I could I would give them zero stars. The owner is very unprofessional. They messed up my nails in the morning, I came back in the afternoon and wouldn’t refund me. Told me I had to pay for a soak off after I paid $50 to get them done and called the cops on me. Took pictures of me while sitting down. Told the cops they felt threatened. That is the owner and the guy that did my nails as well.

After a long search - I have finally found my go-to nail salon! Everyone here was so friendly, and looking around at everyone’s nails - everything that was done was gorgeous. I had the pleasure of meeting Ben and he did such a great job. He did a fill, cut down, and reshape. My nails look so great and natural. They were busy, but Ben still paid attention to detail and took his time with me - and they got me in as a walk-in with minimal wait time. Good prices too. Thanks again!
