Lumos Infrared Sauna + Cold Plunge Studio

Great place, friendly staff, and the saunas are a wonderful way to decompress at the end of the day. Saunas are new and the rooms are big. Though, not every sauna room is the same. My only complaint is the app and website (especially on mobile) suck for booking appointments, especially with multiple people. I also wish Lumos had more to offer, such as a cold plunge, or juice bar after your session. But I still love this place and will continue to go here!

What an awesome experience! The staff was friendly and kind, shared tons of educational information and answered all my questions. I recommend bringing a book to read while in the sauna! Make sure you bring LOTS of water. There aren’t showers (they recommend not showering for at least an hour after the session as your body will still be sweating and detoxing) so just plan accordingly (ie maybe reconsider scheduling a fancy dinner date for right after your session, lol). Love that you can try out the chromotherapy with the different lights within the sauna as well — I went into my appointment with a bad headache, and left feeling a bit of relief! I can imagine the benefits deepen over time / with continued sessions. Looking forward to going back!

Lumos on Culver. Incredible wellness recovery spot. Contrast therapy. Private rooms. Infrared sauna and cold plunge tub. Fair price. Felt amazing after. If you put your body through a lot, this is the place to go to treat it.

Lumos is the answer to freezing Rochester winters! Light therapy combined with warmth did wonders for my health.

I visited to use the 1-3 person sauna for the first time. I booked online but called and found out I can put in for guests in the comments when I book online. I brought two friends with me and we had a great time. They just paid when we came in. The best part is being able to come in for free within two weeks of your first service! The space was very clean and beautiful. I loved the eucalyptus cold towels for afterwards.
