We went in for a manicure and pedicure and picked out our gel polish and services. When we were "Done". I let the woman know she hadn't painted my nails yet. She awkwardly told me if I wanted them painted with normal polish to match she could do that. At this point my friend had hers done already and I was ready to go. When I looked at my bill I saw I was charged for getting gel polish on but it never happened. She never even asked If I wanted them painted and just charged me for a service not done. On top of that, I still have dirt under my nails because it was never cleaned. My feet also show no signs of a pedicure outside or painted toes. Although everyone was friendly, won't be going back. $118 for toes done and nails filed is insane.
An addition almost a year later: I came in and was soaked from the rain (it had come out of nowhere for real) and the staff was sooo lovely and accommodating. Got me towels, allowed me to borrow a shirt while they dried my clothes, and asked if I wanted a warm beverage to help with the coldness from the rain. I seriously adore this place and the people who work there!! I have to give Denise another shoutout for always doing such a good job on my nails too!! She’s the best! :) I’ve been going here the last six months or so and the energy is always absolutely lovely and my nails always come out great!! I went in today with no major plan in mind for my nails and was talking to my nail artist, Denise. We end up talking about my cat and she offers to draw a cat on one of my nails and it’s trul
While my friend was getting her nails done the other day, I decided to get my eyebrows waxed. My friend had a HORRIBLE experience with her nails and we decided to get them fixed at another salon. While we were there, this was about an hour after I got my eyebrows waxed, I noticed my eyebrows were still burning. That’s when the first two photos were taken. My friend had noticed that the wax BURNED me. The second two photos are from the same evening and the last two photos are from today. I’ve never had anything like this happen to me before and it’s the most uncomfortable feeling. I can’t rub my eyes without it bothering my eyebrows. They’re still so sensitive. I wish I would’ve gone back to get my money back. But PLEASE go somewhere that will take the time to pay attention to you and make
Just left the salon. They treat you well but didn’t give me exactly what I wanted. I’m unsure why she did a clear bottom layer, when even in the photos they’re a pretty solid non see through color. Nails were crooked, she did ok with the flowers but I personally wished they were a bit smaller. Hate the French tip, I showed her a picture of how I wanted the French and she didn’t use a detail brush, she just painted like you would a full coat and used acetone to make the shape which made them even more sloppy. After asking if the length of nail was ok, I never got asked again about any of it. Or else I definitely would’ve said something. Again amazing service, I just probably won’t be coming back again due to the quality of nails. There’s not even an apex to the nail. Update: I got these na
Disappointed. I will stick to my shop on 529. Here at Lux, I felt like just another customer & from the overall finished nails of my friends that i went with, not all techs are qualified plus I felt like I was hassled for additional services. Beautiful clean location. Greeted with a smile by gentleman at front. No Bloody Mary drinks..bummer! They did suggest an orange mimosa (I’m not a fan of chAmpagne) drinks were served in what seemed a plastic cup for a water fountain. With the location, i expected to be wowed…I wasn’t. Requested the black matte dip (never told it would be additional $5) I’ve had my nails dipped and I’ve never been left with so much black powder ALL over my hands!. When I was asked to wash my hands, I was literally scrubbing my hands of powder for a good few minutes
