Lux Nails

I got my nails done a week and a half ago for my birthday. My normal nail tech was booked out. The one perk About this place is the lady was nice . Besides that, there not much good to say. They are already falling off and the retention started right away and is awful. The line work is sloppy and not at all even. I had to have her change the design three times so it didn’t look bad. I went with the simplest design. And it’s still messy. She scratched me with the drill more times i can count and cut my skin when doing my cuticles. It also took 2 1/2 for just french tips and was 75$ before I tipped I get my nails done 1x a month, i do my best to take care of them and I always try to give benefit of doubt. I’m truly disappointed in the work… The lady who did them was the sweetest though.

did a walk in for a mani pedi and the pedicure was so relaxing! i got dip nails with tips and im so impressed with how they came out! my nail tech took the time to make sure the shape was perfect and no bumps or rough edges were there! also was very decently priced, around $110 plus tip. will definitely go back!

Had my nails done here yesterday and i was very impressed. I didn’t get the guy’s name who did my nails, but I wish I did because I’d love to go back to him every time. I keep short nails and he did a meticulous job with my gel manicure and didn’t get even the smallest amount of gel on my skin or cuticle. I know these nails aren’t going to lift or chip. The guy I saw sat in the against the wall in the chair closest to the bathroom! He was awesome!

I have limited time off so I searched for local nail salons open on Sundays. Lux had the best reviews for Dubuque, so I headed that way. The reviews didn’t disappoint! The service was excellent, the attention to detail impeccable, and I left there completely happy with my mani/pedi!

I scheduled a nail appointment for 1 an was late (my fault lost track of time) They still took me and took their time to understand the very complicated nail art I wanted and re-did the design If they knew they could do better without me even saying anything, I am definitely coming back I was there from 1:30 to about 4:30 thats how much time they took to make sure my nails were literally perfect!! And they are I am more then happy with them!! I so appreciate the patience they had with me too because I don't typically do my nails because I work with my hands but I cannot stress enough how kind an patient with me they were with me.
