LUX Salon - Lafayette Village

I’m new to the area and had looked at this salon but ultimately decided to go elsewhere to get a cut because I was worried about pricing - but you really get what you pay for. I ended up coming here to have the other cut fixed and had a great experience. Chelsea did such a great job and it was genuinely an educational experience. I learned a lot in the time I was there and left so happy. I would absolutely trust Chelsea with my hair again and recommend this salon.

I moved to Raleigh in 2023 and searched and searched for someone who could perfect my blonde and I came across Tanya’s page and immediately booked with her. I was nervous because some stylists I’ve been to don’t exactly get the blonde that I want and made it look very noticeable when my hair grew out. But with Tanya, she has killed it every. time. The blonde is always a perfect tone and grows out SO naturally. I get my hair done maybe twice and year. It is expensive, but Tanya really takes her time and makes sure her art is perfected!! Even when I went bronde (darker) last winter, she still got the exact color I was wanting!! Typically, I don’t like to talk during services like hair or nails, but Tanya makes me feel so comfortable and we have the best time giggling together!! 10/10 person

My hairstylist Brooke created such an amazing atmosphere. This was my first time getting my hair colored and she walked me through every process. I was unsure of exactly what I wanted so she asked me questions in order to receive a clearer vision of what I had in mind. I can’t say enough amazing things about Lauren at Lux Salon! From the moment I sat in her chair, I felt completely at ease, she listened carefully to what I wanted, asked thoughtful questions, and picked up on things I would have missed. What really stood out to me was how considerate and professional she was when my haircut ended up taking a little longer than expected. Instead of rushing, she took her time to make sure everything was perfect, and checked in with me along the way to be sure I was comfortable. That kind of care and dedication makes such a difference, it showed she truly values both her work and her clients.
