Luxe Nail Bar

I had my first visit to Luxe Nail Bar, and unfortunately, it will also be my last. The technician was personable and genuinely tried to do what she thought I’d like. I requested a rounded square shape, but she said my fingers were too wide and recommended an almond shape instead. I asked if my natural nails were long enough, and she said yes. After cutting them down and filing off half of my nails, none of them looked uniform. I left feeling really upset and self-conscious. I had my best friend in town and dinner plans, so I couldn’t ask for them to be fixed, leaving me with a $60 bill for over an hour of my time with only one other customer in the salon. The place was very clean and had really good reviews so i decided to try it out, my friend and i went and were immediately greeted by the staff. We both had reference photos of what we wanted and neither of our nails turned out like the pictures. The staff acted like any change we wanted to make was a huge inconvenience. I asked for a different red before she started the design. The nails took 2 hours and still look rushed, the hearts all look wonky and some even just look like blobs. For the amount i paid i expected better. I’ve never had an experience that left my nails this sore and my skin so raw around them. I had them do cuticle care since i was really in need and the cut my skin in two places to the point i was bleeding.

Tina does a great job waxing my eyebrows. It’s so convenient to have it done at the same time as my mani & pedi. Ryan did my Codi gel pedicure yesterday; I love the color! I’ve been coming here regularly since moving to the Aledo/Benbrook area 2+ years ago.

It was a great experience. They were a little short staffed so it took longer. But the nails were really good and the people were nice. The massages were also really great.

Highly recommend! Tina did my Gel-X. She did an AMAZING job, and gave me exactly what I wanted. I told her I have very sensitive nail beds and she was very gentle with the buffing. Honestly so happy with the whole experience.
