LUXE NAIL BAR at Temple University

This was my first time at this salon and I had an incredible experience! My nail tech was Tiffany and she was very sweet and has great attention to detail. She took the time to understand my nail shape and trimmed and filed exactly the shape I wanted. I requested a dip method and she did a great job layering and not making the nails feel too thick. She also waxed my brows and they look nice and sharp! She did everything for just $55 total and under 2 hours.

Disappointed as a new client, I was treated extremely unprofessionally and disrespectfully. Even after an appointment for 6;40 and showing up early I had to wait. Then after seating they asked me to move to another table. The new nail tech I got,Lynn was extremely unprofessional. She kept leaving me to finish others eyebrows/services. ( no other nail tech was doing so) I had called over the phone for pricing about a short acrylic set and was told it would be around 45 and could be 60 with designs. Nail tech Lynn tells me my base itself is 65 even tho the cut was short. She tried telling me it was medium to long ( I’ve been getting my nails done w home based techs and this was not medium AT ALL) she then tells me my total would be 115. I usually don’t leave negative reviews, but this experience was very disappointing.This was honestly the worst salon I’ve ever been to. The staff were very rude and unprofessional, and it felt like customers were the ones working for them instead of the other way around. There was no receptionist at the front desk instead, the employees who were already sitting and working on other clients would ask you what you wanted while you were standing far away, forcing you to raise your voice just so they could hear you. It felt very disrespectful and completely unprofessional. Not once did I see any staff member smile everyone looked upset and unfriendly the entire time. On top of that, whenever someone was assigned a client, you could hear them complaining about having to do the work. I’m coming

This was my first time going and I’m very picky about my nails and feet I was soooo scared I read all the reviews and decided to go and see Linda or Mia cause they were highly spoken of so I got there and I’m telling you Linda is the G.O.A.T if you go there that’s who you ask for!!! Thanks Linda you did an amazing job on my nails and brows , she didn’t do my feet this time but next time fasure. Thank you Linda oh and she’s so sweet and she takes her time she’s a perfectionist so make sure if you go to her you have time to sit.
