Luxe Nail & Spa - Stamford

I will not return to this nail salon. Very rude, abrupt male employee (owner?)...I placed my handbag on the chair next to where I was sitting while getting a manicure. The salon had many empty chairs so I thought it would not be a big deal. 1/2 way through my manicure the man comes over and takes my bag and shoves it behind my back (between my back and the back of the chair I was sitting on). He seemed angry. There was a lady sitting next to me and she had her bag on the chair next to hers, but he did not remove her bag. Like I said...they lost my business.

I used to be a regular here, but after today, I will never go back. The service was terrible, and the pricing was inconsistent and misleading. I brought my 6-year-old daughter for a pedicure, and they initially tried to charge her the same $50 price as mine. When I asked for a regular pedicure for her, the price kept changing—from $42 to $30 to $25—until they finally settled. Her pedicure was rushed, done in 12 minutes, and poorly executed—streaky polish with no topcoat. The technician barely paid attention and went right back to her phone in an empty salon. My pedicure was just as bad. The polish had to be wiped off and redone instead of simply letting me choose a new color. The whole experience felt unprofessional and unpleasant. It’s been 12 hours, they charged $85 for gel meni and a regular pedicure and my nail has already chipped. It’s expensive and low quality work!!! Don’t go here

Worst manicure and pedicure I have ever received. $49 for a terrible job with dip powder should be criminal. There were no extra designs, etc. That’s just the base price. There was no cuticle oil, no hand lotion and no hand massage, not even a second or it. That is my favorite part. 😫
