Customer Reviews
I go here all the time for my nails. The techs are all super sweet and nice and care about their customers. However, there is one tech who always rushes my appointment. I got my mani pedi 3 days ago and she didn’t let my nail polish stay under the UV light as long as the rest of them do. Of course.. now my nail has already chipped due to it being wet underneath still.
This is just based on one nail technician. This was my first and only time going here. I showed a picture of what I wanted and they said they could do it. She used a black glitter nail polish with a matte finish. It looked like a hot mess. I wanted stiletto, they were uneven. She also hurt me a few times filing and using that filing drill bit. I have cuts and burns from it. When I pulled away, she just held onto my hand. I should've just left, but I let her finish. No one was rude, it just wasn't a good experience and the finished product looked like a foggy mess. I went to my regular place, and they fixed it. The 3rd picture is what I wanted. The other 2 is what I got.
I recently tried this place due to being new to the area and the Google ratings. I had a good first experience at the shop where I got a gel manicure and pedicure. However, just over a week later, the gel polish on my fingers started chipping away at the bottom. For those of you who get gel polish, you know gel should last for 2-3 weeks with no chipping, especially from the nail beds. I called the shop and was told to come in to have my nails repaired for free yet when I got there the shop manager, Amy, treated me very poorly and offered many excuses to deny responsibility. She insisted the chipping was due to the brand of gel polish I chose which was OPI, that I was mistaken about when I got my nails done, and even told me to go back to my old nail salon. She was persistent about me payi
I have been going to Luxury nails for 7 years +. I am kind of picky- so for me to commit, it’s a big deal. These ladies have become a kind of family to me. Amy (the owner), and Ann have been kind, punctual, and VERY good at what they do. On a consistent basis. They also will go above and beyond to make their customers happy. The place is clean, and well taken care of. I highly recommend. Thank you ladies for all you do! 💗
After my disappointing experience at the nail salon, I started to wonder about the importance of customer service in businesses. While it's always nice to be greeted with a smile and polite conversation, does it truly make up for a lack of quality work? I decided to get a dip manicure, and while the staff were friendly and polite, unfortunately, that didn’t translate to quality workmanship. The dip and polish base were poorly applied, leaving product around the edges of my nails and finger tips where it shouldn’t have been. The technician didn’t realize it until I pointed it out. She seemed to be in a hurry to make it to her next appointment.
