Luxy Nails & Spa

This place is actually beautiful, when you walk inside. Very impressive! But too bad the attitudes I encountered did not match. We walked in to a non- chalant greeting. I explained to the staff that I wanted just an nail change on my 85 year old Mother. Kim (the staff) proceeded to berate my mother saying how bad my Mother's nails looked and that she needed a manicure more so then just a nail change. I hated that! Lady, just give what I requested. I originally told Kim to go ahead and do the manicure. Then I received a call from a family member that due to my Mother's illness of risk of infection, she should not have a manicure and just do a color change. The person who did my Mother's nails was not friendly or welcoming AT ALL. I tried to engage her but she was not welcoming at all. Then,

This place is nice and convenient. They took me as a walk in but I wish I would've read the reviews first. The lady that did my nails cut me too many times during the process. The acrylic is bulky and some nails aren't straight. They also seem to over charge. Mine alone were 110 :/

Went to Lucy nails where one of them was coming off and Paul snapped on my nails shape on point design on point bring him your design n he got you place is amazingly beautiful n so clean

UPDATE: I was contacted by the owner via phone. When I called back, Giselle at the desk was so rude. Do better, Giselle! However, the owner was very kind and fixed my nails free of charge. He got me in within an hour of speaking on the phone. Thank you so much Daniel!!!!! I absolutely appreciate you calling me to rectify the situation. I don’t see an option to add new photos, but my nails are MUCH better. I will be returning. —————— I just left this salon. I’ve been here twice before and thought I’d give it a try again. The pedicures have always been satisfying and I didn’t mind paying what they charge. These nails on the other hand are a struggle. When I ask for my polish to be applied thin, please listen. Look at the photos. I wear my natural nails and nothing looks natural about these.

Update: DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE!!! THEY TRANSFER FUNGUS INTO MY TOES! When in for a pedicure.. my tech Sam was so sweet.. I don’t know why they give you the option of what kind of package of pedicure you want if they’re going to charge what ever they want. I came in because I was feeling down and came with an idea of spending $45 max after picking what package I wanted viewing there options online which was $40 the Luxy spa. They ended up changing me $60 apparently $20 was for no chip which is insane because other places change $5 for no chip. Will not recommend this place to anymore. No wonder why it’s empty. Charging people more than they describe. Update: DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE!!! THEY TRANSFER FUNGUS INTO MY TOES!
