2nd time I've been here and they completely damaged my curl pattern. 1st time I thought it was a fluke, but after a year I returned. Same result if not worse. Not sure what they are using, but I will NEVER return to them again. May be a good salon for straight naturals vit definitely not for those who love and cherish our curls reverting back afterwards. Try at your own risk.

I want to preface this by saying i’ve been coming to thus salon since i was 10 years old I am 26 now and although this is a dominican salon, majority of customers are BLACK and today 7/19/2025 I was completely disgusted and disappointed by the service. The owner was not there and i’m sure if she was this would not have happened. It started when we walked into an empty salon doors locked, they opened the door and stares when my bf and I walked in as if they were startled or hesitant to touch our hair. Once started they grew irritable at having to detangle our hair, so I took it upon myself to do it myself. Then they didn’t want to roll both of our hair and insisted on a blow dryer instead of sitting under the dryer. It was a lot of complaining and sighing and talk about us not knowing one o

I can say as a mixed girly it’s always hard to find someone that can deal with my hair texture appropriately and safely. Coming from New York I also can say that I was skeptical with a new hand in my head. As we all can relate to with finding a new stylist. From when I walked into the door it felt as if I was walking into one of my titi’s house. The energy, professionalism, comfortable conversation, speed and just overall my experience to the outcome of my hair was absolutely just great. Already made my next appointment next month, for some highlights before my birthday. Did I mention the price! Amazing work for the right price.

I’m actually hurt to be honest. I spent the last year growing out my hair natural in braids. I’ve been to the salon before they’ve relaxed my hair, but I was trying to move away from the relaxer. After I took my braids out I wanted to receive a blowout on my natural hair with no chemicals to see if I wanted to continue to proceed to grow it out or relax it again. I made an appointment to get the blowout on my virgin hair the following week when I wash my hair, I had about 10 different textures on my scalp. You could clearly see that there was relaxer or something put on my hair to loosen the curl and I did not ask for that. It’s very concerning for many different reasons, including the fact that if I wanted to get a relaxer she would’ve put more chemicals on my hair and then I would’ve had

Wife went in yesterday for the FIRST time and said that everyone was very welcoming and nice. She went in for a haircut. She said she showed the lady what she wanted from a picture. The hairstylist said okay she could do it. But that when they got done with her hair, it wasn’t what she wanted. The hair stylist told her “oh yes I didn’t do the front part because I knew you wouldn’t like it” then told her she would have charged her more if she did the front part. I believe if you’re paying for a service you should get exactly what you wanted. Also, money wasn’t an issue to begin with. Lastly for the hairstylist to say she knew she wouldn’t like it without even telling her that from the beginning is unprofessional!
