Madina African Hair Braiding

Sonya did my hair she was very fast and precise. The parts were very clean and the braids aren’t too tight. I came in at 9 and she started my hair right there and then and she was done by around 11:45

Kind ladies. Got 6 stitched cornrows in about an hour. Fresh and clear lines. The lady who braided me was very attentive to the symmetry, which I appreciated. The only thing i didn’t like was that the owner was trying to charge a high price, which she eventually brought down to $60. The pics are from having them in a few days and they still look good.

I needed to get my hair done but, my stylist wasn't open due to the lockdown in NYC. I did some research on hair braiding salons and I went with Madina. It was the best selection I did. She is a lovely person as well as her employees. Her establishment is clean and their work is exceptional. If you do not like the style, she will work with you to give you the style you desire. I been there two time since my initial time. Every style I came in with, it was done lovely. I HIGHLY recommend you to go to her salon.

I decided to get braids last minute before an upcoming event and my stylist was booked. Madina African Hair Braiding Salon was able to get me in over the weekend. Madina herself did an amazing job helping me pick the colors that looked nice with my complexion and braided my hair. I will definitely get my hair done by Madina again.

I am so so happy I came here. I sent a pic of what I wanted to Madina prior to coming in and got exactly what I asked for. The twists are so neat & well done, I am very pleased and will definitely come back. In terms of time, I came in at 11:20am, someone got started on me right away; I got waist length Senegalese twists and it took about 4 hours. Everyone in the salon was kind & welcoming. No complaints at all, I would highly recommend this salon!
