Madison Reed Hair Color Bar Reston, VA

Madison Reed in Reston has AMAZING stylists and colorists!!! I have very thin, mousy brown hair, but they do a beautiful red shade and blowdry to make it look fuller and shiny. I always feel like I get VIP treatment here and appreciate so much their work and: Padma, Erin, and Ty who did the excellent job today. They are so accommodating that I am always able to relax and enjoy the experience!

Never again! The stylist I had was unbothered and I believe she purposely wet my sweater and blouse while rinsing my hair. The women who greeted me and checked me out were LOVELY! The stylist was slow and not a steward of excellent customer service. Will never be retuning and anxious to seek out better options.

I had a great first experience at Madison Reed. From my consult, coloring & Omg the wash was everything. My Blow dry also quick n easy. Hair looked great after. Thank you ladies.

Very disappointed. I was passed from person to person. Seemed no one had time for me. A stylist completed my color then told me I needed to sit for 45 minutes. An hour and a half later I finally had my hair washed. No one once checked on me. I have been using Madison reed for over 4 years and am a Pro Member. This is the second time (consecutively) that I have received this treatment. I received a very vague apology. This is enough that it may be time to take my business elsewhere.

My first visit to the Reston location wasn’t great. The place was already backed up when I arrived, and I waited about 20 minutes—some people were waiting 30 minutes or more. My service (full balayage, root color, and tint) took nearly an hour longer than what I was told. The hair designer seemed very slow, and I couldn’t tell if she was experienced. She started on the back sections first, so the front ended up with noticeably less color because of the timing and the order she worked in. She never checked how the color turned out, even though I was there for almost three hours. Most of the staff looked stressed, and the schedule clearly wasn’t being managed well. Even though the space looks newer than Fairfax, I don’t know I’d coming back.
