Mado's African Hair Brading Salon

I came in because I was looking to get some locks twisted in as I’ve been growing my hair out for about a year to add on lock extensions. Another braiding salon turned me away because they said I still needed half an inch longer hair, but Mado’s Salon said my hair was long enough and was able to twist in the extensions and do some phenomenal magic to tie in to make the extensions work even for the top of my head where my hair has always been slightly thinner. I’m so happy with the result and so glad I came here to get my locks done. I’ll be moving to Los Angeles in a month, so I’m sad that I won’t be able to keep coming back but I’ll definitely be stopping in to maintain my hair while I’m still in Chicago. Came here 1 week ago to get my hair braided. Asked for small Senegalese twist and was giving a price and I was fine with the price but I told the ladies I wanted all of my twist the same size and I was told that was fine. But somehow I ended up with small twist in the back and big loose twist in the front. The twist look so bad in the front it looks like I have had them up for at least a month. Some twist were cut in half while cutting the split ends as well. My hair is literally coming done in the front because of the careless workmanship I recieved. Almost $300 down the drain because I'm now left to take my hair down and find someone else to do it over . Suffice it to say I will NEVER return to this shop.
