Maggie Beauty Supply of NY is a cool place to go to when you need to get any beauty supplies. I had a talk with the owner and the staff they are very understanding and have a lot of patience. Very helpful as well

I’m writing this review while sitting outside the store, the workers are rude & totally bring down the value of this establishment. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid & the owner has never disrespected me. However I got here @6:45pm I wasted my time coming here because I know it closes at 7:00pm I went to the door knocking and the worker saw me and just laughed and pretended I wasn’t a paying customer. Not even the common courtesy to say hey, we’re closing early today Miss . I’m sitting outside in my car waiting to see who comes out & it’s two workers giggling closing up and it’s only 6:53pm. I’m coming back tomorrow to tell the owner because there’s no way you should treat customers as such.

I love this KC & K Beauty Supply Store. They are not only《Store 》They help me all the time with my idea. It was good They aprove. But, It was not good. They tell me the truth. They care about my money and There reputation. I was thankful for being honest with me. In this time I went to see if I can do something in my hair. Sadly, they told me NO, because I will damage. It's much better to go to the Beauty Salon if , I care. In the meantime I bought some differents hat to covered my mistake. That way they have my 5 starts & my time to sit down and write good things about. ♡♡♡ ● ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ●♡♡♡

They have some good hair products and a few braiding supplies, but not a big selection.

If no stars were an option, that's what I'd give it. Purchased $30 worth of products my last visit and none of it did what it was supposed to being that they carry lots of old product. They'd even advised me to put back one of their products because it was old. So this time around after I paid for my items, I informed them that what I'd previously purchased did not work so I asked if what I'm getting now doesn't work, could I return it. One of the men behind the counter immediately got defensive and without even understanding what I was trying to say got so emotional and irrate and tried to tell me I'm the only person to complain about a specific product. And even insisted that next time I ask a hairdresser for advice before buying items so I told him his store associate actually helped me
