Magic Fingers Hair Braiding Salon

My mother went to get her hair braided. The style on the website says $160 and she charged her $250. She over charged my mom because my sister and I was not with her.

Most unprofessional place I’ve business I’ve dealt with. Multiple times I have called early when they open to get a time for a men’s take down, wash, and braid. They give me a CONFIRMED time to show up. Multiple times i have arrived and get met with a sorry we are still in the middle of a client’s hair. They proceed to tell me it’s gonna be a 30 minute wait. I decide to wait the 30 minutes i leave come and come back, they tell me they’re on the LAST BRAID/STRAND. So I’m content with that thinking I will be called soon, so i proceed to look at my phone and time passes by. Another 30 MINUTES for a total of 1 hr wasted there. I’m 100% disappointed in my easy style! I went in for 5 cornrows, how hard is that?? The front looked great, but when I got home and saw the back of my head I was horribly disappointed. My parts are crooked, the braid lengths are uneven, looks worse than when I do it myself. I paid $150, and it is NOT good. I called the owner and she seemed to think it looked okay…DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON. You will get ripped off! $150 for THIS!!

I walked in feeling self-conscious and unsure, but I walked out with confidence, style, and hair that looks absolutely amazing. I’ve been coming here for years and this is very disappointing to have to write this review. Flo (owner) refuses to own up to what she did to my hair. I booked for medium knotless braids(as always) and this is the result (see photos). My PARTS are huge with small braids which’s made my hare look thin and not full.My hair looks rushed! I expressed that to Flo and her response was very disappointing as if I’m on the wrong (refer to pics for response). I asked for partial refund or her to fix my hair she refused so now we are here. I will not be going back and I’m taking all of the people I’ve sent to her. She’s not willing to take accountability for her actions.
