Magic Nails

I come here all the time for my refills and pedicures. Jeff is my favorite. He always does an amazing job and gets the shape perfect! I often get compliments on my nails and people always want to know where I get them done. The girls who do my pedicure are really sweet too and I love how it turns out. It’s usually this one girl or her mom (I wish I knew their names). I’ve been coming here for over a year consistently and will continue. Love this place and Jeff is great!!

This place is horrible. My nail tech is/was Ricky as well as my two daughters and aunts. We have been coming here for years. Today I had the worst experience because I didn’t like the way my French tip was drying. There was air bubbles on all of my nails. Also, the top coat was applied once and I could see my original nail underneath. I mentioned it to Ricky and he got upset and said I was being picky. I’ve been gettin my nails done since I was 15 so I know exactly what I want and I should get what I’m paying for without any problems. Ricky refused to fix the color and called the cops after going outside to smoke a cigarette which is what he does frequently. I asked the boss to intervene and he got frustrated got out of his chair and began yelling stating that Ricky doesn’t want to finish

I wish they would start accepting appointments. The wait time is ridiculous for the most part but my nails are usually nice when I leave. I don’t like that the prices have become less transparent. I really wanted to put 3 stars but I will give them another chance before I do that. It’s Passaic, not the fanciest but much more reasonable and the girl who does my nails is super nice and does a good job. Parking is available at the meters.

This place does really nice nails. The ladies also scrub your feet really well and they are really nice. But there are many issues. They do not have parking. They do not take appointments, it's walk in only and it's always busy. The prices for pedicures and manicures are not posted any where. They just tell you. But the prices for gel, powder, nail refills are posted. They should have all prices listed and included on price list. Aside from that, you need to wear N95 mask. But not to prevent COVID but to prevent lung cancer because the chemicals from the nail supplies impregnate the air. The air quality is really bad and they do not have proper ventilation.
