Manor Park Barber Shop

There are few barber shops that are as welcoming and consistently high quality of character as Manor Park. I've been to several barbershops throughout the DMV. I keep coming back because my haircuts by James are always excellent. And the conversations within the shop are never distasteful or full of foul language. It is a very uplifting, educational environment. If you're looking for a great cut in a clean, drama free shop this is the place.

Decent place to get a haircut. The barber was nice and did a good job. Prices are reasonable. My only complaint is that some of the clippers used cause a bit of scratching and pain where he was trimming around my head and scalp, which was uncomfortable. Overall though, they do a good job and I would come here again.

Came here because of a convenient location and good Google reviews. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing waste of money and I'm going to have to go elsewhere to get the cut fixed. I asked for a simple cut (3/4", usually a #6, sides and back, 1.5" top and front). The barber really didn't cut the top and front at all, and spent much of the time putting product in, combing it, and making small trims here and there so it *looked* shorter but really wasn't. See the picture, a lot of my hair is still almost 3". The fade in the back is admittedly decent, but the sides are uneven (left is visibly longer/more volume than right). The barber also was frequently distracted by the TV news, and spent a confusing amount of time repeatedly cleaning or adjusting his tools. All told, I was in there for 40(

This place is second to none! Go on in and check out James, the Don and Mr. Dwight and let them hook you up! Great service, reasonable prices and wonderful experience.
