I hate to leave a negative review because the staff at this salon is genuinely kind and welcoming. However, this is my second disappointing experience here, and I feel compelled to share. I typically do my own Gel-X nails and have for two years, but with my wedding coming up this Saturday, I wanted to treat myself and save time. Unfortunately, this visit left me with more work than expected. The Gel-X application was, unfortunately, not up to standard. The nails were crooked, lumpy, the cuticles were poorly addressed, and there was gel polish on my fingers and hands. Today was my first time at this shop, and I had the absolute BEST experience with Honey Bee! She did a fill on my hands, and when I say she understood the assignment… she really did that! My nails look flawless, and the design is absolutely beautiful. The shaping is perfect, the details are so clean, and you can tell she truly takes pride in her work. Not only is she talented, but she also made me feel comfortable and welcomed from the moment I sat in her chair. I went on a Sunday evening when service was slow. Staff seemed friendly however they cut my cuticles several times causing bleeding. Worse than that wax temperature was not checked by technician causing burns to my upper lip. Will not be returning.

This was basically the closest nail salon to my Airbnb so I didn't really have high expectations but I was seeing right away, and I was given not just what I wanted but they did a phenomenal job! I just wanted some spooky blood dripping nails and they totally nailed it for Halloween! Thank you so much!

I’ve been into Maplewood Nails several times now. Every time I leave very happy with my gel mani & pedi (when needed). Tiffany has been AMAZING and very lucky to have her take care of me on my most recent occasions. I know I’ve also been in Kim’s chair in the past as well and was happy with the service. Highly recommend! Feel comfortable coming back every time to the same friendly faces. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
