Mai is my go to. Some folks say she's expensive, but her work is beautiful and I get all types of compliments on my hair. You can go less expensive, but it won't last or even compare to her work. Her work is priceless. She also knows that I'm tender headed.

I came in to get simple needle and thread right before closing . The woman at the counter was nice. Great conversation and food advise. I think it’s perfect to have a hair salon inside of a hair store because most women end up going two places either before or after getting their hairs done. For example getting the stuff to keep up with their style or getting what’s necessary to get their hair done. I did think her prices for her services were kind of high. She said $20 to sew a wig down (that was slipping) since I already had my hair braided and $60 to braid my hair down and sew the already made synthetic wig on.

I like this beauty supply store, the ladies are very friendly and make recommendations for products when asked. It's not a very big store, but they carry hair brands that the store across the street (Tora) does not. I would consider getting my hair braided here since I have not had good luck lately with other braiders.

Great barber, and the store in front will have a product you want or need.
