Maria gave me an amazing cut and highlights. She also recommended coloring that was gentler on my hair and prettier than I've ever had. She is really sweet and a pleasure to hang with for a few hours. She has been doing this for decades and is a real pro.

I wanted to love this place SO badly, but I didn't. A friend recommended it and I went for a highights refresh, which was not at all what I expected. Not enough foils were used so there is a lot of uneven darkness around my head, no toner and no root smudge for smooth transition and regrowth. The haircut and blowout were okay, but after a couple of days waiting for the color to grow on me, I realized it just isn't good. Not sure why I can’t add photos to the review, but the reference photo and the work done don’t match unfortunately.

Had an appointment for two haircuts yesterday morning. These appointments were made two weeks in advanced and were confirmed. I usually go to agatha so ever since my sister and mom have gone to her as well, several times now. We come all the way from queens close to JFK. But yesterday she seemed to be in a rush. My sister’s hair was not cut evenly. The back had a longer piece in the middle hanging out. The layers were not proportional at all. Her right side layers were all choppy and her left side were ok but not as noticeable. This isn’t the first time she has cut my sister’s hair and she has done a good job previous times. I don’t know what happened. For my mom she didn’t even want to wash her hair. She wet it with a spray bottle and got to work. I haven’t had time to check if it’s cut e

Agata gave me a great cut, root touch up & blowout right in time for the holidays. She was super sweet as was everyone else in the salon. Great price and good timing — I was a little nervous coming in because it seemed like this salon’s specialty was in lightening and I’m a level 1 black. Was pleasantly surprised!!

I have always walked in for a cut. Ironically, it’s always the same girl that cuts my hair, Olga. She’s done a really great job every time. Usually, I just have her trim it as I was trying to grow it out, but this last time I had her cut it shorter and style it. I was extremely pleased and happy with how it turned out. I’ve got very curly hair and she does realize if you take too much it’s going to be too short, but she certainly gave it a shape that framed my face, and updated my look. I’ll definitely be making an appointment next time so that I can make sure and have Olga cut my hair.
