I came in asking for ONLY long layers and left with my hair chopped from below my boobs to my shoulders. That was NOT what I asked for, not even close. Jazmine completely ignored my request and did whatever she wanted, like my opinion didn’t matter at all. On top of that, I was charged for balayage and instead got ugly, harsh highlights that look nothing like balayage. When I tried to speak up during the appointment, I was brushed off. When I left the salon literally in tears, Jazmine didn’t offer to fix it, didn’t offer a refund, and didn’t even acknowledge how upset I was. Today, my family and I had an appointment with Esmeralda, and she did a wonderful job on our hair. She took her time, was kind and friendly, and made the whole experience enjoyable. I had a wonderful experience getting my hair cut here today. The price was reasonable, the atmosphere was comfortable, and the service was excellent. I’ve been a loyal customer to Maria’s Unisex for about 15 years now. Griselda is amazing and she’s my go to but all the ladies that work there are super nice. This place does get busy because of their loyal returning customers, so while they do accept walk ins, it is highly recommended that you call in advance to see when the best time is to come in. There is free street parking around the area.

Had a good experience in the beginning but lately they don’t respect scheduled time for appointments and a service of 60min ends up being 2 or more hours :(
