Maribel Hair Salon

Been coming here all my life! Literally. Since I was 10yrs old I’ve been getting my hair done with Maribel. I’m now 32 and don’t go anywhere else. The ladies that work here are super friendly and have a lot of experience. My hair has grown so much and I always leave feeling brand new. I love it here 😍

I had a great experience with this salon they use really good quality products and they make your hair really silky and nice, my daughter and i have 3c/4a texture natural African American hair, and they did such a amazing job, they were very gentle with her as well.

Long wait time on Saturdays and Fridays, service is ok. They are really bad with time, and delegating what tasks they should do first. They spent hours blow drying, so if you go for haircut you’ll be waiting for two hours, at least. Price is normal. Long time for haircuts, they go really slowly. Do not go for highlights on already dyed hair, they forget about your service and mess up. Maribel is the good one but she is not there often.

I am Dominican . I travel to Washington Heights to get my hair done . After 13 years living in Pelham , I discovered this gem . Amazing service and my hair is so gorgeous . Definitely will be back .

She did a great job with my hair but overcharged me because it was New Year’s Eve. My hair is super short and the Dominican salon by my house does my hair for 30 and she charged me 47. I would’ve went to my salon but she was completely booked.
