Marie African Hair Braiding

Marie did a really good job on my knotless braids with curls at the end. She slayed!!!! :) And even though I was the very last customer to walk in and call last minute she still treated me very kindly. Keep in mind everyone is tired late at night after a long day of hair braiding but she was great. I didn’t get any lumpy looking braids, each one of the braids were even. If you decide to come here ask for Marie she’s the best!

Awa did a great job she was very professional and so sweet. She made sure to be gentle when braiding my hair. I will definitely come back again.

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND SCALP!! I've been going here for a total of 3 years. I should've learned from the first experience where my hair follicles were pulled out and inflamed. They over charge and are very rude and disrespectful. They talk and argue about costumers in French all the time. My last and final straw is when I had gotten my hair done and my hair was braded too tight( after telling them it was too tight and the lady ignoring me) the hair had too much tension and ripped the front pieces of hair out of my scalp within the 2 days they were in my head. My scalp also suffered because it was now bleeding and raw by the 3rd day.

I’ve been going to this shop for over 7 years. They are reasonably priced for the long hours of work that they do. I moved out of NY. When ever I want my hair braided I come to Marie. She always delivers on what ever hairstyle style I request. Whenever I get my hair braided people always want to know where it was done at.
